This Southern Oregon Lake County Ranch offers high quality spring and summer grazing on over 3500 acres in one contiguous block in a private setting with over 1400 acres of flood irrigated pasture lands. An additional 200 acres has been cultivated and is currently in triticale under sprinkler irrigation. With the assistance of Ducks Unlimited the flood irrigation system has been greatly improved with a main diversion dam, drains, secondary diversion points, a well designed system of dikes, ditches and head gates allowing a judicious, efficient use of water supplied by Thomas Creek which flows through the property from north to south for over 2 miles. The Thomas Creek riparian area has been fenced off to maximize wildlife enhancement. The productive valley setting provides a high water table that insures strong pasture grasses on the non irrigated lands closer to the shoreline of Goose Lake.

The property sits at the north end of Goose Lake and just south of the town of Lakeview, Oregon. Included is a 40X60 modern shop in good condition with concrete floor, roll up high clearance doors and 3 phase power. An older lambing shed 30X 200 and a basic set of corrals. There is an attractive fully developed home site over looking Goose Lake and much of the irrigated pasture lands. This home site comes with domestic well, septic and power near the entrance to the property close to the shop. The current owner has aerated all the meadows, rebuilt much of the fencing, and added a good deal of cross fencing to facilitate rotational grazing. He has also installed quality movable electric fencing near the lake shore in order to utilize the riparian grazing as the shore line recedes through the grazing season.
