During her years with CENTURY 21 San Luis Properties she received the prestigious Centurion Award for 8 consecutive years and in only 6 months with RE/MAX she earned the Platinum Award for top performance. Monica is a REALTOR ® / broker and co-owner of San Luis Obispo Realty. She and her partners have over 50 years combined experience in Real Estate sales and consulting. Her focus is on providing exceptional and superior service whether working with buyers or sellers. Over the years she has taken advantage of many opportunities to grow beyond residential real estate sales. She also has extensive experience in multifamily properties, commercial properties, 1031 tax exchange transactions, re-location and land development.
Monica received her Real Estate license in 1997 and joined the National Association of REALTORS ®, California Association of REALTORS ® and the San Luis Obispo Association of REALTORS ® , serving on the Board of Directors for 3 consecutive years. She also earned her Broker's license in her quest for continued knowledge and expertise.
Previous to her Real Estate career, Monica was co-owner and manager of a termite and roofing company in Morro Bay and she was co-owner of a local family owned fire alarm company. She served as president of the North Coast Contractor's Association for a number of years. Monica also attended the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego. She continues to apply the principles of Feng Shui in her business when asked to do so.
Monica has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, hiking, scuba, running, weight training, spinning, reading, art and volunteering for many charitable organizations. One of her favorite causes is CASA, (Court Appointed Advocates for Children). She feels it is important to stay well balanced physically, spiritually, emotionally and in one's secular work. Her absolute priority is her family and she believes that is essential for a happy and productive life.
